Pie is where it all started. In 1978 Katy’s Pantry was established as a result of a group of friends wanting a place in Enid to sit down and have a slice of pie together. Owned by Katy Rieger, “the pie shop”, as it’s called by family and friends, has grown over the past 38 years to be so much more than pie. Katy’s now offers an extensive menu of soups, sandwiches, salads, quiches, and casseroles as well as numerous pies, desserts, and side items. In addition to offering these as individual servings, customers have the opportunity to purchase quiche, casseroles, soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and even our two signature salad dressings in quantities to serve families and large gatherings. All menu items are prepared fresh daily using the finest ingredients and without preservatives, made from scratch using family recipes. Family is also evident in how everything is prepared by hand just like Katy’s mother and grandmother made them. Pies are fluted by hand, cinnamon rolls are hand rolled, and the sugar cookies are rolled, cut, and iced by hand while meals are made by order.
This year Katy’s further expanded by adding a second shop, located in The Farm Shopping Center in Tulsa, OK. While the Enid location can seat 102, the Tulsa location is primarily take away focusing on baked good and meals to go for both individuals and large gatherings. The Tulsa location also offers kitchen related items such as Mason Cash bowls, enamelware, Kavalier Glass baking dishes, and cookbooks. It’s the perfect place to get those last minute gifts whether it’s a pie or pie plate, a casserole or a cookbook.
